When I first went to Trill, my handicap was a 4 and after 9 weeks of hard work I was shooting under par consistently and improved my handicap to a +1.2.

During my first lesson with her, she evaluated all aspects of my game; chipping, putting, pitching,bunker, an full swing. She had me

hit different types of shots for each aspect. When we were on the range she had me hitting different types of shots; fades, draws, punches, high shots etc. as she video taped me. After that, she uploaded my swing onto her computer and was able to point out my strengths and areas that needed improvement.

Trill then came up with a short term and long term goal for me to follow as the summer progressed.  After my first lesson, I worked with Trill three and sometimes four times a week. Each week, we really attacked one area that needed improvement. This really helped me because she was not trying to tell me two different things at the same time; we only focused on one thing at a time. Trill also understood a very important part of teaching, and that is "not one person has the same exact swing". She never taught me the same thing as someone else, and never attempted to "re shape" my swing. She took what I came to her with and worked with what I had to turn me into a better player.

Trill is the main reason why I was able to win 5 tournaments this summer and shot rounds as low as 64 and 66. Another great thing about having Trill as my coach is that after tournament rounds good and bad she always had time to talk to me over the phone and help me go through my round a pick out the areas that I excelled in and the areas I struggled with, that way she new specific things I needed to work on to improve my tournament scores.

She is an outstanding teacher that understands each area of the game better than any other instructor i've worked with. I would highly recommend Trillium Sellers to any person who wanted to take their game to the next level. She is by far the best instructor I have ever had, and that is why I will remain working with her for a long time!

Trill is such an awesome teacher, mentor, and friend.  She definitely had a huge impact on my college golf career.  I traveled to all tournaments in the fall except for one and won our women's club championship playing against all my teammates. For the spring season, I traveled to every tournament and was part of the top three.  I made the 2009 Nationals Team and put my game to the test at the Division III National Championships in Florida.  We won for the 12th year in a row and I finished 11th overall out of 111 girls.  although I missed All-American by one shot, I couldn't be any happier with my finish and my college golf career success.  I am excited for my National Championship ring!  However, none of this would have been possible without Trillium...

After Frank took  his lesson with you on Fri he announced to his buddies Sat am that he would not be betting as he was going to be working on a new swing. They all laughed and told him that a 60 year old can't change his swing. He persevered in correcting the reverse pivot as you had instructed and beat them all. And he was the only one playing from the blue tees!

More importantly he feels much less strain on his back. It's unfortunate Frankie didn't take instructions from you BEFORE having to have back surgery. As an orthopedic surgeon he feels that the techniques you taught him would have saved him from having a herniated disc in the first place. Like he told me, "Trill not only saved my swing, she saved my back!"

JoAnn and I had such a wonderful two days with you. We both felt like you were the BEST golf pro that we have EVER worked with!!! We got so much out of our "train like the pro's" days with you.

After analyzing our swings you were able to zone in on what we needed to work on to take our games to the next level. You were so on target with so many great suggestions...we had so many "ah-ha" moments. You are smart, knowledgeable, fun to be with, good at demonstrating and very positive and encouraging and we know that our golf game will get better with what we took away from you. You took our complicated questions and turned them into easily understandable golf information. We loved all your little tricks too..like actually swinging your hands in motion before putting to get the feel going, like placing the golf head club head against the golf cart wheel and try to press the club through so we would do that during our swing, like moving our hips from the beginning of the downswing to the follow through.  Trill, we thank you for all that you shared with us and we both agree that your teaching skills are exemplary especially for someone so young.
